USO now provides complete event entertainment from drinks reception music, dinner music and on to after dinner entertainment.

We are proud to announce our new USO Big Band and USO DJ sets. These can be booked on their own or to accompany our existing Chill Out and Acoustic Ensembles.

USO Little Big Band and Big Little Big Band

We have introduced smaller versions of the USO Big Band, tailor-made for your event - the USO Little Big Band, featuring 3 vocalists, string quartet and backing tracks (7 piece ensemble) recently performed at the Wimbledon Ball on June 26th and the Big Little Big Band, featuring 3 vocalists, string quartet and backing tracks with live horn section and dancers (13 piece ensemble) which debuted at a large corporate event in Birmingham in March, starring lead vocalist Sean Rumsey (Former X Factor Finalist).

Highlights 2010:

USO performed their 7 piece Little Big Band as the main band for the 2010 LTA Wimbledon Ball at the Hurlingham Club.

USO performed their new 13 piece set (featuring strings and horn sections, percussion, vocalists and dancers) in Birmingham, and their Little Big Band set in Oslo, with DJ Dan Savidge from the Jinks as well as providing wedding music at Shoreditch House, East London & Stanway House, Gloucestershire and as corporate entertainment at the Natural History Museum.

USO performed at the Greatest Fashion Show On Earth, Westfield, London. The fashion event took place to support Naomi Campbell's Fashion For Relief Campaign and the White Ribbon Alliance, raising funds for mothers and babies in Haiti. USO performed their new cover band alternative, the Little Big Band, in Oslo, also providing DJ music during and after dinner, by Dan Lywood.

Wedding service music performed at Stoke Park Country Club and Resort (including specially commissioned arrangements of Damion Rice, Blowers Daughter and Elbow, One Day Like This), Chill Out Set for drinks reception music, Acoustic Ensemble as background during dinner, DJ set (featuring vocalist/saxophanist Mo Brandis) and DJ (Jose Carretas from Gorillaz) for after dinner dancing.

Chill Out Set octet performed background music during dinner at Goga Askenazi's 30th Birthday Party at Tryringham Hall.

Chill Out Set quartet performed background music for corporate event at the Southbank Centre.

Highlights 2009:

Debuted our new USO Big Band set, featuring live band, orchestra and vocalists, as gala dinner entertainment for international corporate event at the Oval Hall at the National Museum of Catalan Art in Barcelona.

Performed chillout set string quartet at the Village Underground's V Lounge in Shoreditch.

Played at Penelope Cruz's Party at the Cannes Film Festival where we debuted our new USO DJ set as party music with live strings, percussion, vocalist/sax and DJ. See video here - music is Fools Theme - by Sir Piers and The Urban Soul Orchestra.

Performed chill out music for drinks reception entertainment and acoustic ensemble as background music during dinner for Dame Mary Arumemi Ikhide's 60th Birthday Party at Claridges.

Performed for BT corporate event at the Science Museum; wedding ceremony music and drinks reception entertainment at the Four Seasons Hotel, Canary Wharf; and USO DJ set as upbeat party music at the Basel Art Fair.

Played DJ set at a party in Switzerland for after dinner dancing at the Chateau of Lord Norman Foster, featuring DJ Dan Lywood and guest saxophonist, Nathan Haines; wedding music at the Down Hall Country House Hotel in Hatfield and at Sherbourne Castle, Dorset and as corporate entertainment at Kengsington Palace.

Performed wedding ceremony music and drinks reception entertainment at Hampton Court Palace and chill-out string trio at the Teaching Awards at Tower Hotel, London.

Performed chill out set string trio with percussion at Claridges, along with Beverly Knight and The Noisettes, at the Launch of the Film "Nine"; chill out string quartet at The Bloomsbury Ballroom (Masked Venetian Ball) and DJ set pre dinner drinks entertainment and Little Big Band after dinner entertainment at The Grove Hotel, London and in Oslo.
