To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Jamaican Independence, Jazz Jamaica All Stars and Urban Soul Orchestra have created a sensational new orchestral interpretation of Bob Marley and the Wailers’ groundbreaking and iconic album, Catch A Fire, featuring guest vocalist Brinsley Forde (lead vocalist in Aswad). The performances will take place throughout September to November across the UK, including our New Year's haunt, the Southbank Centre.

Videos 2010:

USO performed at the Greatest Fashion Show On Earth, Westfield, London. The fashion event took place to support Naomi Campbell's Fashion For Relief Campaign and the White Ribbon Alliance, raising funds for mothers and babies in Haiti. Some highlights 2009:

Debuted our new USO Big Band set, featuring live band, orchestra and vocalists, as gala dinner entertainment for international corporate event at the Oval Hall at the National Museum of Catalan Art in Barcelona.

Played at Penelope Cruz's Party at the Cannes Film Festival where we debuted our new USO DJ set as party music with live strings, percussion, vocalist/sax and DJ. See video here - music is Fools Theme - by Sir Piers and The Urban Soul Orchestra.

Performed chill out music for drinks reception entertainment and acoustic ensemble as background music during dinner for Dame Mary Arumemi Ikhide's 60th Birthday Party at Claridges.

Performed the USO DJ set as upbeat party music at the Basel Art Fair.

Played DJ set at a party in Switzerland for after dinner dancing at the Chateau of Lord Norman Foster, featuring DJ Dan Lywood and guest saxophonist, Nathan Haines.

Performed chill out set string trio with percussion at Claridges, along with Beverly Knight and The Noisettes, at the Launch of the Film "Nine".

I would one hundred percent recommend Urban Soul and would love them to perform again at The LTA Wimbledon Ball next year!
