Urban Soul Orchestra performed with Bashy at the Launch Event for Young London Into Music. In June Stephen also performed with The Noisettes at Koko and Glastonbury and USO recorded strings for Leona Lewis' latest album.
USO enjoyed a writing collaboration with singers Renn and Fola which led to a performance in Brixton on July 18th. The performance also featured special guest artist Moana Pember and USO trombone player Harry Brown.
British Council received a special award from the Human Rights Commission in recognition for their outstanding contribution to positive race relations, for the project, "People in Your Neighbourhood" featuring USO.
Stephen played with the Britten Sinfonia; at the Cafe De Paris and also worked with film composer Erran Baron-Cohen.
USO performed at the Launch of the film "Nine" at Claridges, followed by Beverly Knight and the Noisettes. Stephen conducted the Il Divo Xmas Tour in London (featuring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra), Paris (Eiffel Tower) Toronto and across the U.S.A.
