Big Band For Big Events
The USO Show Band is live music at its biggest. A full rhythm section, expansive horns and strings, and three lead vocalists come together for a sound designed to fill the room and take over the dance floor.
Where the Swing Band celebrates the classics, the Show Band moves through everything that came after, soul, disco, pop and contemporary anthems, from Barry White and Robbie Williams to Scissor Sisters, Lady Gaga and Beyoncé. The repertoire moves across generations, building from songs everyone knows into the records that bring the whole room onto the floor.
At the heart of it is a band of exceptional session and touring musicians, bringing the scale, spontaneity and energy that only a fully live band can create.
The Line-Up
The Show Band is built in three sizes, and every configuration is performed live.
- 16-piece: string quartet, keys, bass, drums, guitar, percussion, 4 horns, 3 vocalists
- 20-piece: string octet, keys, bass, drums, guitar, percussion, 4 horns, 3 vocalists
- 24-piece: string octet, keys, bass, drums, guitar, percussion, 8 horns, 3 vocalists
Up to 90 minutes of performance. Smaller and larger configurations are available on request.
The Occasions
The Show Band suits scale, awards dinners, gala evenings, summer and Christmas parties, large wedding receptions, and any room where the entertainment is the headline rather than the accompaniment. It is the format to choose when the guest count is high and the brief is a floor full of people rather than a listening audience.
It scales from a compact 16-piece in a ballroom up to a full 24-piece with an eight-strong horn section on a main stage, and pairs naturally with a quieter set earlier in the day.

Music Throughout Your Event
Most clients book more than one line-up across a single event: something understated as guests arrive, something with more in it once the room opens up. Because it is one team across the whole event, the music flows as a single arc rather than three separate bookings and booking multiple ensembles brings the day together at a better rate than booking each element apart.
